These pages are here to whet your appetite, rather than attempt to list everything I could possibly do for you. I feel somewhat like the guys who advertise themselves as a "Hubby-for-rent" - I can do many of the jobs your IT Manager would/should do if he/she had more time, or if indeed you had such a person.

Just because I can do something doesn't mean you should hire me to do it. I wired our house for a local area network (so the kids can print on Mum's colour printer and I can pass them back the photos they took on Dad's camera when I wasn't looking) but if you think it's a good idea to have me wire you up, I'll advise you otherwise. It took me a day to make six connections. But if I'm working with you anyway, doing something I am good at, I can certainly advise you on a local network, or specify what you should ask for when you contact a pro, or even make the arrangements with said pro for you. As an ex-IT Manager, I know enough to get a job done right: I'll do it myself when I can and should, or you can get someone else to do it. If someone else does it, then if you want, I'll check that they did it right.
