Logistics
This section addresses the needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses, especially during start-up. Some people just naturally love the challenges of getting a logo, designing brochures, setting up a phone and a fax, getting their business cards, an Internet domain name, a web site and so on. I love doing this stuff - it means that I don't have to get to marketing and cold calls! Others just want to get it over with and get on with the part they're good at.
There's a certain logic involved in getting all these things done - for instance don't print your business card before you get your business phone number! - and there are many graphical and technical details around logos and images so that they look good on paper, when commercially printed, and on a web site. For instance, if your web site designer doesn't give you the right files, you won't have a high enough resolution for your logo to look good on glossy paper.
If you feel you need help with any of this, or just don't want to do it yourself, I've been through it, and I can help. From consulting on what you need, or brainstorming ideas, through to doing it all for you; I can help. I can put your ideas into images (like a logo, for instance), take photos, research domain names, trademarks and business names. I can buy a computer for you or create a basic web site to get you up and running. I can print "Thank-you" cards customised with your logo, create brochures, or research your competition. I've been there. I can help.
If you have any questions about how I might be able to help you, please feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail.

| Locality | Typically, I communicate via email, and occasionally phone. Most of the start-up logistics can be handled that way, but if you require face-to-face, you'd need to be in Oakville or possibly Burlington or Milton. I tried commuting once, and didn't like it. |
